I am trying to find out some info in my grandfather, Justin Hollis Harding Roche.  He was  R.S.M. in Ottawa (WWII) and served in Europe in WWI

I was able to find  his name and number in the WW! Intrenet  archives, put up by Veterans Canada. They have his name as Justin Harding Hollis Roche, with a  WW1 service number of 234954. As he survived WW1 his records are not in the on-line archives , but this will give you a place to start from.

I assume that he is now dead, so you should be able to request his records, if you have his death certificate, and can show that you are a direct relative of his. Go to this website, for more info.

My Father was a WW1 CEF machine gunner, who made it home in 1919. Died at age 83 in 1981.
