Sorry if this topic is not at the right place. So feel free to move it. ;D
I was reading news like I always do each morning and I came across something that..well disturbed me. It's a readers (soldier) opinion about a TV program that was on the air the night of the 31. For years we had a program recalling all the stories of the year, with most of the time real time sketch's and was always funny. The program was cancelled, but this years was revived by a group of humorist, and was all "pre-filmed" and we had the promise that it would be as funny. I stop watching it after 30 min cause I didn't like the way they did it. I am glad now that I changed the channel. One of their "sketch" was about a military wife from Valcartier receiving a package from Afghanistan... in the package she had the remains of her husband and" peppermint" ???. Like I said I didn't see it. But the point is whatever the situation was in that sketch it should have never been approved by the leaders of....SRC..yep the french side of CBC, again... :threat: The problem is, the show was watch by over 2.6 millions of viewer in Quebec. A lot of them were soldiers, including me, leaving next year. Other then writing a complaint to the SRC what else could we do?
Sorry for the grammar
the link is in french...sorry
