Interesting pictures of research and development of American Aircraft from the 1950ish.
 
Interesting photos but my first reaction was not the Avro Arrow but rather the North Americian Vigilantee.

When you read farther in the thread you see that There are others who thought it's design influenced the desugn of the Vigilantee.

Beautiful aircraft, but I can't see any of them in a ground support role.
