I recently visited the recruiting office and was informed that the Ammunition Technician trade is currently open. I was provided with a link to submit an occupation change request.

However, when I open the link, it indicates that the occupation is not available at the moment. During my visit, the recruiter showed me on his system that the trade was still open.

I would like to confirm whether there may be a technical issue with the applicant portal or if there is any other step I should take to proceed with the occupation change.

I would appreciate your guidance on how to resolve this matter.

personally I would trust a recruiter over random strangers ont he internet with potentially no access to recruiting targets (I know I don't).

Recruiter said it was open, go to this link.
You went to this link, it says closed.
You have two options:

1. Go to the source of the problem. Contact recruiter, email as it is was a Saturday, attach screen shot that shows it is closed. Wait for response. Follow up sometime late next week.
2. Ask random people on internet.
