Animals on base?

I'm currently preparing to start a driver tasking in Petawawa. I will be there for the next two and a half months and I have a dog that i would potentially want to bring with me. I have heard something about animal friendly shacks on base in Petawawa but I am not really sure that sounds right. If some one could confirm if this is true or not that would be awesome. Also I am not referring to PMQ's.

I think if they let the linemen in the shacks, they should allow any animals.  >

Seriously though - if they let you have a pet in shacks in Pet, that would be the first I've ever heard of any base allowing it.

As a general rule, "No animals, warm OR cold blooded, are allowed in single quarters" is what I've seen on most, if not all, bases.
