Another TX Soldier Charged With Accepting Bribes
(CBS 42) AUSTIN A day after a Georgetown soldier pleaded guilty to getting kickbacks from the war in Iraq, another Texas soldier is accused of taking millions of dollars in bribes.
Army Major John Cockerham and his wife are under arrest.
The San Antonio couple is accused of taking almost $10 million in kickbacks for rigging military supply contracts.
The two are charged with accepting bribes, defrauding the United States, money laundering and conspiracy.
