There is that common misconception that just because we don't personally benefit from the profits of capitalists we remain apathetic to the ideal of capitalism. Some people are deceived into that thinking that when the communists takeover, their lives will improve for the better. Some embrace communism with malice by imagining themselves taking over the houses and property of the capitalist like Che Guevarra and Fidel Castro having their residences in houses abandoned by the richest in Havana.

We shall remain salaried employees after a communist takeover. A Vietcong general spends half of his salary to buy meat for a day's consumption to quote a poster in another forum. Free enterprise works. I like to be a soldier to strengthen and protect the capitalist economy inspite of having no stake in it except for a few hundred dollars worth of stock earning 1 dollar a month. As I said it works and there is no other alternative to democratic capitalism.

I do not envy the rich as some Filipino commies do. They have their own problems. It would be a heinous example of the greediest person in the world in the person of a commie who wants communism so that he can own the company together with the wives and daughters of the capitalist exemplified by a communist Hukbalahap who attempted to rape the lady who eloped together with her hubby and hid in the mountains.

IN SICKNESS OR IN HEALTH, FOR RICHER OR FOR POORER TILL DEATH DO US PART, CAPITALISM! CHEERS FOR CAPITALISM AND ITS TOOLS. ;D

Awesome first post. Calling soldiers 'tools of capitalism' is a great way to make friends around here. I'm sure you'll find yourself B& in no time with rhetoric like that.

I am sure pro-capitalist or pro-democratic capitalist soldiers are pleased with my post. I wrote it in good faith without any intent to make 'tool' a disparaging remark.  Tool is a snide by the pinko commie but to me or the democratic capitalist ideologue, a subservient military officer who respects the chain of command. Harper is pro-capitalist. Her Majesty the Queen is pro-capitalist and they belong to the chain of command.

You're forgetting something very important.

Soldiers of the Canadian Forces enlist, protect/kill for whatever government is in place regardless of ideals/policies/economic system.

It would be better if you said that Canadian democratic capitalism does not discriminate against communists, socialists, French communists, Anglophones, pro-separatist Quebecors in the Canadian Forces on the basis of the Charter of  Rights which says, "NO person shall be discriminated on the basis of political belief.." And I do not contest this Charter provision...I was just arguing for the US Navy Seals and the pro-capitalist soldiers of CF.. ;D

I don't understand what you're trying to get across...

I'm going to go out on a limb here and guess that you've never been a member of either group. I can't speak for any SEALS, but by your posts, you're not remotely competent to argue on my behalf. Please stop.

Everyone in the military does not believe in the same ideologies, political or economic systems. That's not for them to decide, either -- everyone is entitled to one vote in this country, regardless of military service.

You're obviously trolling to instigate a debate/argument/riot between posters.
