Good day to all, Im looking to be pointed in the right direction here...

I was going through my great grandfathers picture frame that has some of his old items in it (badges, id discs, pictures, juno beach plaque and old currency. I noticed he had a badge (http://uptheroyalsmilitaria.com/2012/06/25/combined-operations/#jp-carousel-359) which i found out was a commando unit on the tragic dieppe raid. He was a POW after dieppe. Unfortunatley my great grand father passed away when i was 6 so i wasnt able to ask him questions or hear any of his stories. Basically what im after here is if theres anyway i can find out which pow camps he was held at and his service record or any records for that matter. He was in the essex scottish regiment from southern ontario. ANY information would be appreciated.

thank you

For his service record, this may help.
