Anyone here done an MBA?

I am considering it, and if I accepted by one of the universities am looking at, I'll be applying through ILP for reimbursement. Anyone here done that and got approved?

Also....thinking far ahead, what would be a good topic to do for a dissertation ( suggestions pls ), in relation to our line of work as military pers, the CF, leadership et al?

Might be totally out to lunch here, but I don't think most MBAs have dissertations. They are usually 2 year programs, all coursework. There are executive MBAs for a year, and if you have a commerce or business administration degree, then that can cut a year off the regular program.

You are indeed out to lunch......I am doing it online ( 2-3yr option ), and the final work has a thesis/dissertation option.

I've been looking at that myself, and seen Simon Fraser University offers a Graduate Diploma that's on-line and feeds into full a MBA.

Athabaska U is probably the best known online executive type MBA program.

The MA in Leadership at Royal Roads has a Major Project and a thesis paper attached to it, or at least it did when I was there. Very worthwhile.

I did my MBA 10 years ago, and there was no dissertation required.  Stratgey II had an in-depth research paper.

Online and Executive MBA's are a big waste of time, IMHO.

Queen's has a good MBA and benefits from the proximity to RMC.  There were a few officers in my program (both instructors and students).

Do you guys mind suggesting possible THESIS topics that you can think of? It could be military , leadership or something else related
