May I ask what medical forms you needed to submit and what med fit means? I’m having medical appointment tomorrow and kinda nervous

Med Fit means medically fit for duty.

I have a degree of bias - Engineering officer is fantastic (and I am not just saying that because the CDS is an Engineer). Getting paid to blow things up is fantastic. Construction Engineering is also a good go; regardless, congratulations and CHIMO!

Sent e-mail following up again: Nov 13th, got an answer Nov 15th saying I got Reliability Status late September and now have to wait for next steps, which would be "ready for competition list, competition list, selected (These processes mostly take place outside Det Centres) then finally an offer letter will be tendered to you once we hear back that your file is good to go."

Has anyone ever heard or had a virtual interview? I already went through in person interview and Medical, deemed fit, Sargeant explained the sallary breaking it down for me etc etc in Regina, and now virtual interview? New step?

It's like in person interview.

For me I change my trade that's why attend another interview.

So they told me that Log O is closed temporarily, that apparently they picked too many people and not even in April/25 (does anyone know anything about these dates when they open for new recruits?) there will be openings. So they offered me a list from which I switched to
1 Aerospace Control, 2 Air Combat Systems Officer and 3 Logistic
Today instead of the interview as scheduled I was emailed a SEAF test and a captain called me, saying we would have interview after the test.
He just called me saying he went through my file and due to medical I am not eligible for either of those 1 & 2 (I had Lasik surgery 12 years ago maybe thats why?).
Now I feel like he is trying to push Infantry instead of Air Force on me. Unless I downgrade to NCM which I won't since I have two degrees obtained outside of Canada.

Aerospace Control Officer is a good pick I think. Their certificate is, as I heard, transferable to Nav Canada.

Do you mind if I ask why? It weird that they offered it in the first place if the candidate is not eligible.

Im wondering the exact same thing, first they offer it telling you to change your occupation then they tell you you're not eligible, didnt make any sense to me. It honestly seems like they are pushing Infantry on people. Does anyone have anything to say about this?

I had my interview from 9pm to 9:45pm. Dont feel shy to schedule it late in the day as they do process interviews on later times.
Instead of Logistics (Closed) they are moving me to the competition list under HSM
