158-Year-Old Home Distilling Ban In United States Unconstitutional, Appeals Court Rules​

Home made moonshine is now legal in the US.

A federal appeals court has ruled that a 158-year-old ban on home distilling is unconstitutional, saying it exceeded the constitutional authority of Congress to levy taxes.

The 5th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in New Orleans “ruled Friday in favor of the nonprofit Hobby Distillers Association and four of its 1,300 members,” The Washington Times reports.

The group argued that people should be free to distill spirits at home, whether for personal consumption or as a hobby.

I run a stove top pot still and an air still.

Funny story, my very first run. Done everything right, poured out a shot and tried to light it; nothing happened. Went on the google machine to ask what to do now, it told me I FUBAR'd it. Keep it and distill it again in another batch. I went to pour out the shot glass and it burnt my hand. I dropped it in the sink and sink lit up with very faint blue transparent(ish) flame.

I asked the google machine about that and it told me to I made jet fuel lol.

Anyways that batch got turned into my apple pie.

I have been trying to replicate the link below, but I am not having much luck.
