i was born in the us but was only there for a total of 2 months if that my mom and brother are in canada ,my dad is from the states but passed away when i was 3 months old . Is there going to be a long wait for them to do a back ground check ? I have never worked or study any where but here I don't have a record . The only thing is i can't give my brother's address because i don't really talk to him .

Good day,
I had a similar situation. I was born in Amherst, New York, USA. I lived in the US for 2 days after being born (lol) then moved to Canada which I lived here my whole life. The only reason I had to do a PRESEC was because my father was outside of Canada. Having a dual citizenship with the US and only living there for 2 months in my opinion from what I experienced is no problem. Sit back and relax, your stressing over nothing :)

Edit: I shouldn't say there is no problem, sorry buddy.

There is no problem in your situation

Unless you're a Recruiter, you don't know that. It's nice that you're being supportive to a fellow applicant, but I would try not to sound quite so authoritative, given your experience.
