It wasn't banned on Phase II Inf; and it was fun to watch people run out ;)

'In the 40 years since its 1978 release, Faces of Death has earned a reputation as one of the most shocking films ever made. Even today, in the age of police body cameras and Islamic State execution videos, it retains its power.'

Never had a desire to rent it. But, remember it from The Sopranos,

When Tony visits his sister Janice and her creepy boyfriend at their house, the video he picks up is Faces of Death. He comments, 'Was The Sound of Music already rented?'  :)

It was a ridiculous movie 40 years ago and hasn't changed at all. The sequel(s) are also junk.

Signal 30, Wheels of Tragedy, Carrier or Killer?, Mechanised Death, Red Asphalt, etc from the pre-seat-belt era beat it by 20 years.

What "Reefer Madness" was to marijuana, they were to Driver's Ed..

"Leave your blood at the Red Cross, not on the highway!"

Maybe the next best thing to putting "Deadman's Curve" on the turntable and cranking up the volume.  :)
