Hey folks, I was unsure of a couple things with regards to this post.

A) Am I allowed to post the link?
B) I was unsure as to where else I could post it, if allowed?

I kinda figured that the mods run a tight ship around here, so If this thread gets nuked or moved.....don't shoot the messanger :P

I was surfing around on ebay yesterday and I came across a 12" action figure. Okay, nothing new, I had an Action Jackson doll when I was a kid living in the UK. But this one takes the cake, and then I went to the manufacturers website, and look what I found.......some real cool, highly detailed......Barbie's for guys.

See.....Barbie's for guys, pretty cool eh? I just wish maybe a JTF2 operative could be included....Please, lets not get our knickers in a twist over the mention of JTF2 okay? How about a PPCLI trooper, or ...a CF18-Pilot. I dunno, I am sure the manufacturer would be open to suggestions. These figures are 12" high, come with a load of detailed gear, and the selection is quite broad, might be perfect for an office or book shelf, and they are not cheap.

BTW, I am in now way affiliated with the site, the manufacturer or the website. And, some of you may have already seen this site before. If so, Just kip over it. And mods, please do as you wish with the post, or the link.

Edited: To change the link

Cheers folks,

Hey those are pretty neat. I'm into the lego type deals, Action Mechanix I think it's called, dunno, my wife gives them to me. I've built an Abrahms tank and a Nimitz class aircraft carrier, it's a neat pastime.

I just tripped over them sorta say, I am completley blown away by the detail. THey are very well made. I would like to see one in my hand though. I am thinking about purchasing one of the NBC guys, they look to be on sale for 59$....and that's Canadian. They ship right outta Markham Ontario.

They certainly laid the LCF factor on pretty thick. id say i like the SF barbie the most. Who would have thunk it, a Barbie that smoked  ;D

Show me a Canadian version, and I'd buy it in a second.

Um, isn't that basically what this thread is about? http://forums.army.ca/forums/threads/30058.0.html

Specifically, these: http://www.gijoecanada.com/misc.htm

Same but Different.

The ones I have posted appear to have much, much, much more detail, and look much, much, much better than the ones you have linked ton....as far as I can tell. op2.

wow they are really nice. i only really collect the 2nd world war ones, and i try to stick with the British/ Canadian.
