Impressive, but does anyone else find it odd that the passers by seem to think that it's normal to see things like this happen on the sidewalk?

Is Bayonet Drill the correct description of that performance ?.

For lack of a better location, why not. there wasn't very much traffic, vehicular or pedestrian.

Note: Most U.S. High Schools have Drill Teams.

Cheers.

I went to a military academy in Edmonton where one of the credit courses was titled "Drill and Parade". We did saber drill with real Ceremonial Sabres, and rifle drill with wooden replicas, but it was nothing like what he was doing in that video. It was strictly drill with a sabre/rifle as a normal CF person would do drill armed with a such weapons.
We did (before and after class) attempt maneuvers similar in style with the rifles, yet much much MUCH more simplified than the elaborate performance he put on.
So, I would say what he was doing would not be called "bayonet drill", but either 'rifle drill' or 'performance rifle drill'.

Kinda like I was thinking and to "daftandbarmy" I'm not nitpicking, just never heard that title in connection to that type of drill. Just wondering ! and thanks for the video.

Cheers.
