Being deployed

I‘m just starting reserves with 4 RCR and have no idea about anything pretty much.

My question was: Do reservists get deployed to anywhere overseas very often? And if they do, what do you need to be able to go? Thanks,

Reserves go on all the Bosnia tours now a days. All you need to know for that is to stay on the hard pack. Not to sure what you mean by your second question.

Well, as I am still in school and haven‘t done my BMQ, SQ, etc.., they obviously aren‘t going to ship me off. I need to finish my BMQ, SQ, and whatever the other one is and do I need another course or to be a certain age?

You need to be 18 or older and be QL3. So if you‘re infantry you need to have your BIQ and be 18 or over.
