i was wondering if, as a Pres member if, it was possible to follow 2 course at the same time....

My SQ would be part time (8 week end), and during the same period there is a possibility to do a Drivers course during the week (4 week). at my unit, the answer was not clear, due to the legality of working 7 days a week for a certain period.

Thanks for the help.

There will be more drivers courses....
Also, you are correct, Per QR&O 9.06 personnel on Class A service are not permitted to work more than 12 consecutive days.

No, due to you being on a contract/ or two contracts.

Normally weekend courses (as he stated his SQ was) are not contract they are class A and if the driver wheel course is 5 days a week it will be class A as well, the two problems are: A) usually when you are on a course (More so BMQs and SQs) the training Detachment running the course does not like you parading with your unit (at least it was that why out here in AB a few years ago) and therefore certainly would not like you on another course Mon - Fri and B) you cannot work more than 12 days in a row on class A (unless that has changed) anymore then 12 days means you must be put on a class B contract but with it being 2 different courses meaning 2 different FIN codes I don't see that happening either.  As far as I am concerned pick one course and stick with it, there will be plenty of time for more courses in the future

That being said I would highly suggest that you do your SQ so you would be "field deployable".

Well, well well, as Always, you guys were all of good help. :) but, the problem has been resolved by it self as of today (about 24 hours before the course should have started) has been cancelled.

:salute:

Well that's typical as of late, there is a shortage of instructors at the moment, don't worry I am sure you will at the top of the list for the next one since this one was cancelled

241 yeah, I'm nominated on the full time SQ starting at the end of october with the reg in Valcartier.
