So grad is on Thursday (woohoo) and many of us will be off to our new posts shortly.

I am airforce LogO, and have not heard anything about my next posting. I believe this to be true with the other LogOs in my platoon.

1. How reasonable is it to assume that we will be sent to Borden?

2. As it is getting closer to December, how much time off can I reasonably expect between landing at my new post, and the first few weeks of January?

Thanks in advance.

Log generally pre-positions folks at their first place of employment while undergoing training. Since there isn't much time until you arrive in Borden, likely you will go to Borden and from there they will employ you in situ under the base BTL, send you back to your home(assuming your F&E aren't in storage and there is a CAF establishment close by) under the BTL there. The other option is you arrive do a crse and they post you to to your place of first employment.

Given there is a Logistics Officer Common Course starting 05 Feb, likely they will just keep you in situ and then post you after the course while you await the next air log course (nothing on their schedule for FY 25/26 post your potential LOCC)

Xmas expect 2-3 weeks 15 Decish to 6ish Jan

I appreciate that reply. Found out the day before grad ( four days ago) that I'll be at 17 wing (current loc). So I will be BTL here until Feb 5th if I understand correctly?
