BMQ

Hey, i will soon be off to do my BMQ, in Aldershot, im wondering, what should i bring with me there, like other then the obvious CF stuff...?? and what kinda things will i be doing, like physical things, i know there is a lot of book work and stuff, but im just wondering, i leave this weekend, and im soon going to be getting stuff ready, and i have to make plans to get whatever it is i dont have...so if you could let me know i would be greatful..thaks

Hey cath, thanks alot for the link, well the thing is , i was jsut sworn inlast thursday, and i go to the armouries this thursday to mark my kit, put together webbing and ruck (blah blah half done) and they will probably tell us then, but they arent smart enough to realize we leave friday..lol jkin, but since we leave this friday, i need to be abel to get into town, i live in a rurual area, and we need to go like 40k to the nearst shopping mall etc...so ne ways, thnaks alot...good luck with everything

There should probably be a store on base where you can get minor necessities. Bring about 100 bucks with you just in case.

I have a question regarding travel to BMQ.

I live in BC and since the BMQ is in Montreal (St.Jean), I have to fly over. Will they re-imberse me for the outrageous Air Canada ticket cost?

Sorry, they will not pay for First Class, unless you are the Minister of National Defence or something.

CF_MacAulay just somd advice since the PLF are doing the BMQ be quiet listen and dont be a smart ***. the NCO‘s doing the BMQ do not like smart *** privates. but other than that you should do fine. Besides your military kit proably need a few civilian clothes and yes theres a corner store about 10mins walk off base. thats if your allowed to go down to it.

proably see ya in B Coy thursday night scrambling to get stuff done.

at least you guys will be in shacks while the SQ course is doing there defensive feild ex.
