Britain is protecting the biggest heroin crop of all time

A friend of mine sent me this today after I told him about wanting to join the CF. Sounds crazy, but I can see it happening.

Here is a quote from the article

In six years, the occupation has wrought one massive transformation in Afghanistan, a development so huge that it has increased Afghan GDP by 66 per cent and constitutes 40 per cent of the entire economy. That is a startling achievement, by any standards. Yet we are not trumpeting it. Why not?

The answer is this. The achievement is the highest harvests of opium the world has ever seen.

Whats the question?

Edit: Most of this has been discussed at lenght somewhere in this forum.

Any article that calls ISAF an "occupation" force, has to be viewed with scepticism. Look up the UN security counsel resolution #1386. Lets not even mention that Afghanistan invited us in the first place.
