Perhaps there is some benefit to the Canadian fat a** population getting less than their American counterparts - the percentage of the population who are considered overweight/obese is much higher south of the border. Though the Canadian fat food franchises don't have to worry much about dwindling customers, the Canadian population is not particularly slim nor trim.
