Ladies and Gentleman, I have sad news to share. (It was sad for me ok) as of very late February CAF no longer allows non Citizen applicable PR. IE have to be a PR for 3 years.
I learnt this after being in process to receive my police certificate from original country of fucking Iran, And Iran finally produced the documents on Feb 27th after 3 months of attempts funnily enough. But I hadn't received that till now or that it mattered since they no longer require a Police certificate either since the citizenship process already requires it. Anyone who is a PR should report to your local CFRC, And as much I wholeheartedly love the staff there, all CAF emails take forever to respond In my case. As to why you should report is, they will need to close your file until they have proof of the 3rd year of PR but they will reopen your file immediately and you will recontinue your case except some expired forums, This maybe applicable to non 3rd years, I would personally confirm if I were so.
Worst part about all of this and only part where I truly complain as I don't believe in much real complaining. This effectively removes the Armed forces as path to citizenship as we have seen in the last parliamentary report PR on average not only take longer than a year they all nearly get stuck in the in the screening process.
