Calling CFNRCC in North Bay

Is anybody getting through?

I've called a few days in a row, press 1 for English, 2 to speak with a recruiter, then wait for a message about an uninitialized voice mail box, at which point you start from the beginning. Today I've been repeating this process since 1pm.

Is this normal for February/March? I know April 1 is exceptionally busy.

Its usually fairly hard to get ahold of recruiting centres anywhere.  I always just walked in if I wanted to get an update during my process.  Its harder for them to ignore you in person.  They are very busy and if their with a person in the office they won't pick up the phone 99% of the time.

I figured in person would be easier, unfortunately my file is still with North Bay rather than the local RC, so it's not an option.

Has voice mail always been down?

Give them a call early morning, that's when I have the most luck. between 9 and a 11.
