Canada moves to 2% GDP end of FY25/26 - PMMC

I don't know if it's still the case but when I was working for the Canadian Medical Association 20+ years ago I was astounded by the number of South African and Irish doctors working in Canada, particularly in places like NL and Sask.
The question would be, are the majority of them still in SK and NL 20yrs later?

Good question. I didn’t stick around the CMA long enough to get a take on that although I don’t recall hearing anything at the time that would have indicated that there were long-term retention issues. I seem to recall that it was not a new phenomenon.

The cold plains of SK are a far cry from the dry warm plains of SA......On the other hand, an Irish person could almost feel right at home in NL.
