For you CC drinkers, Australia has devised a unique way of canning such. From what I unnderstand these are NOT available in Canada. In three provinces i asked for these, adn they did not have a clue.

Available in 375ml cans and bottles, and comes premixed with ginger ale and ginger beer.

These are called alco-pops here, and are very popular, althought sales recenly haev been down due to the federal government's new 70% increase in tax for them, hence a 6 pack now costs $24AUD.

Anyways, here is two pics.

I wonder if this will catch on in Canada?

Well now. That's different to say the least! How does it taste? Same as CC from the bottle with some ginger ale, or is it a bit off, or even better?
 
Only 4.8% not even that stiff no wonder it's an alco-POP HAHAHAHAHA

I think should I ever be down under I would love to try one or a few dozen  ;D
 
Wasnt CC&G pre-mix avaiable in Canada for a while ? I remember seeing the commercials on TV.
 
I think you are right CDN...some one should look that up, not me thats sounds too much like work and effort.

Sask-Alta, adn BC did not have them in 04 and in 08. They do taste totally yummy, hence I am a bit seedy this am, and the waterfront party I was at, a boatbulders mates's place last night was great, that is until the police were called. Imagine 9 people over 40 at a dinner party/BBQ, when the neighbour, a counciller, rang the coppers at 2000h on a Saturday night.

Anyways we raged on until after midnight  :nod:

In bermuda you can buy what is called a "dark & stormy" (Rum & Coke) that comes in a can.

Problem is that some young kids are taking em to school in their lunch bags.....
