Canada's 'Sad' Beer Calamity

well i guess all of those heard about the terrible accident on the 401 this morning. it is truly sad and devastating to see what kind of disasters can happen with a blink of an eye.

on the 401 a beer store truck got into an accident with a Honda civic. the truck tipped and 2400 cases of beer smashed all over the 401 :'( it is a sad day in toronto for all those planning to stock up this weekend.

so if you would all like to join me for a minute of silence please.

when i heard about it on the radio it said the driver of the Honda was in haspital with none life threatening injuries, i couldn't help but say wait till he gets out.

I heard it was some dumb 19 year old chick who cut the truck off....But a sad, sad day none the less  :crybaby:

Should have seen the picture in the toronto sun though.  It showed the tow-truck driver grinning like a kid on christmas morning, holding a load of beer cans.  Lucky bastard.
 
I wonder how many, brave, but misguided souls tried to capitalize on this tradgedy. Think of all the poor saps that got booked by the police after the ran onto the 401 trying to get a free 2-4.

Yup, the woman has since been charged with careless driving or the like; I unfortunately cannot locate the article at the moment.  
 
Jeeze its not that bad guys .................now if had been a load of Alpine ...well that would be different .

Cobra?   Is that only available in S.A?    I am a Huge fan of Castle Lager (Charles Glass!!), drinking it as I type...who makes Cobra?
