Thanks. I'm pleased with how she turned out.

I'm going to deliver it to the CO of BLog tomorrow to put in her office. My hope is that other base and fleet leadership types see it, get jealous, and want one too.

And....someone sent me this fact sheet as a handy reference to help me update the main mast - looks different from what I've seen before, so off to do some 3D Design work. V2's mast can easily be reprinted at this point, and V3 will be even closer.

That's the most recent version of the mast that I've seen.

I think that'll do....I'll end up printing the detail bits separately to add, but I think that's a good foundation for it. The 3D panels are slightly too big, but I think that's OK. I'm not a rivet counter, and this is still just a 'concept' of the RCD.

And, hull #1 was delivered yesterday to a rather pleased CO.

Hull #2 is now in the building slips, with putty, primer, putty, and more primer.

Hull #2 is progressing apace now....the first layer of gloss blue over the primer showed some flaws, so....more putty and sanding....and I'll see how she looks on Monday.

Honestly....I'm hoping to take work from whomever the 'pro' modeller is that's building ship models for the Navy....we'll see how that works out.
