Hi everyone.
I created a phone app that lists every resource that I could find for Canadian Veterans, serving members, RCMP/RCMP veterans, and spouses. I've had some really good feedback, including from social workers, counsellors, front link veteran workers, etc. In the last 14 days, there has been over 1000 + downloads which according to Grok is really good for a niche app.
It provides you with links to where all the resouces are located so you don't have to spend your time trying to find it or if something even exists. It consists of emergency resources such as shelter, food, crisis centres and phones, to less immediate such as finances, permenant housing, service dogs, to non emergency as discounts, associations, and even a link to apply/learn to be a golf caddie in the UK if you are a US, UK or Canadian veteran.
It's in both Google and Apple stores. I would love for you to try it and send me any feedback, links, spelling errors
that you may find.
I am already aware of a few issues such as it has an option to sign up. Don't. There's nothing in the sign up and the app is piggy backed to the legion website in Morinville so that might be confusing. I'm working with Wix to delete that. It's free, no cost to be on the app or to use it. It's all about resources, not stores wanting advertisements.
