Dears friends,

Firstly, thanks for replying.Currently I'm a doctorate studant and my research is about Canadian Peace Operations Doctrine.I would like to know if someone could help me with some doubts about this subject. This could be by email or instant messenger.
Thank so much.

I notice all respondants so far have ignored the Navy and Airforce. Admitedly, the bulk of Peacekeeping Ops have been land oriented but not all. There are several exclusive Navy and/or Airforce ones as well. My suggestion would be to use a search engine after looking at some of the missions which entitle one to wear the CPSM(Canadian Peacekeeping Service Medal):

http://hr.ottawa-hull.mil.ca/dhr-ddhr/chart/eng/eligibility/cpsm_eligible_e.asp.

Though not "books" on the subject, I am sure you would find lots of info to steer you to titles.
Al I can say for books specifically 'Navy' are books by the following authors:
Ken MacPherson
Mac Johnston
Marc Milner
Thomas Lynch
James Lamb...
...to name a few.
I would ask one of my armchair historian brethern in 'light' blue to chime in on Airforce titles/authors.

Probably the best peacekeeping book Ive read is:

While the information you may glean from the following site may will probably not be sufficient for all your research, it may be a starting point.  Maloney's articles usually have comprehensive bibliographies/endnotes and may point the way to other writings on the subject.
