Certified true copies of documents

I have currently received my offer of enrollment and will be heading to St. Jean on Aug. 30. I am told I need to bring in certified true copies of documents (marriage certificate, birth certificates of my children etc) Does that mean I just bring in photo copies of these? What makes them a "certified true copy"??

Good Day,

It means you need to bring the originals with you to the recruiting centre.  The Clerk there will photocopy them and stamp the photocopies as certified true copies.  Now you can bring the photocopies with you to St. Jean because they have been certified true.

Thank you for the confirmation. So much to do, so little time... but well worth it. :)
