Hi all , I watched on the CBC yesterday as two Canadian Soldiers were presented  decorations by the GG , got me thinking what medals or decorations do the CF have?

Victoria Cross
awarded for the most conspicuous bravery, a daring or pre-eminent act of valour or self-sacrifice, or extreme devotion to duty, in the presence of the enemy

Star of Military Valour
awarded for distinguished and valiant service in the presence of the enemy

Medal of Military Valour
awarded for an act of valour or devotion to duty in the presence of the enemy

Decorations for Bravery:

Cross of Valour
awarded for acts of the most conspicuous courage in circumstances of extreme peril

Star of Courage
awarded for acts of conspicuous courage in circumstances of great peril

Medal of Bravery
awarded for acts of bravery in hazardous circumstances
