CFAT minimum requirements

Hello there, I'm not sure if anyone has asked this before and I'm trying to find more information from peers.
I applied for Infantry, Artillery and Plumbing Tech. Did my CFAT last week, today I got told i didn't meet the requirements for the trades i applied for, but gave me a few choices, such as sonar operator, vehicle tech, avionic system tech, etc. Neither of those are of interest to me. Long story short, I'm confused, how can i be qualified for such trades yet not for Infantry? not saying its an easier trade, but from what I have read, most people say scoring doesn't have to be too high. Can anyone relate to this? Infantry is my number one and wouldn't want to settle for less. A CFAT re take perhaps?

It could be because you have a lot of competition for the trades you applied for that scored higher than you, whereas the trades they suggested probably have less.
Lots of people want to go infantry, so even if the min score is low, there's lots of competition.

Hey don't worry it happens, the review I received after the CFAT he mentioned that out of the 6 of us that wrote only 4 of us were accepted in our trades.
