The City of Toronto and the Canadian Armed Forces have joined to block one of Toronto's new A La Cart vendors from selling his kebabs near the historic 48th Highlanders monument.
There are times when you just can't fathom the thinking of city bureaucracy. Someone issued a permit to a street vendor to set up his food cart at the base of our Regimental memorial at Queen's Park. Shortly after he set up our ever vigilant CF cadre arrived at the scene and advised him firmly that he must move.
