Hi;

With all the changes over the years it has become harder to find things so hopefully someone else can help with this.

We have members that are starting various clubs and expecting to be able to have things purchased by the unit for the clubs. Sports clubs go through PSP I believe but the ones that I am trying to find something on is clubs that would not be covered by them such as rocketry, board game, etc.

thanks for any help.

Umm... aren't YOU the one we go to for these kinds of questions?

shhhhh - snitch.

Yes and then if we don't have the answer or run into problems finding it we network with all resources available. Use to be easy to find things but now computers have often made it harder to find as references that look promising are broken links, deleted docs, etc. plus I am in release mode so purging all military information that I don't need on a regular basis. 😜

My understanding is that PSP covers those sorts of clubs as well, since the fall under Morale and Welfare services, just like the messes. The best bet would be to speak with the local PSP manager, and see what comes from that meeting.

I took the easy way out. PSP/CFMWS so far everything leads to mention of sports activities but it does make sense and I agree with furniture that it should include others for morale. I passed on the information at the O-Group for others to investigate further as I have more important to me things to deal with and it is to their benefit to know the process for when I leave in a few weeks.
