We also used to have 2 regular size riding horses. However due to hubbys trainning schedule, it was not fair to them to be pasture ordaments. So we had to rehome them to great homes.
Hubby would say no more animals. The we would get a call about an animal who would need our help. We got a call from a neighbor saying they kept their shetland/cross pony in a dog run. I told hubby- he didn't say anything but went outside and hooked the horse trailor. We went and got her. That night he was buiding her a new pen and a lean too.. LOL
