I am currently a VTech in a communications unit, and since we are rejoining the army, I heard that I am going to be reassigned to an ASU. Is this true?

Depends on who you heard this from.  Did you hear it from a reliable source, such as someone in your Chain of Command who may have been holding a message in their hand stating that fact, or someone in the Mess, over several beers?
