Hello, I recently completed to the recruitment procress and was accepted to the direct entry officer plan as an Infantry Officer. I have read all the available material on physical prep but I was hoping to get a more realisitc view of how well prepared I have to be when I go into the first phase of my training. I am pretty sure I already am physically fit enough to get through, but I want to do very well and I was wondering if I could get some comments on how physically tough basic officer training is. How much upper body strength is required on a daily basis, how much running/marching etc. I would also appreciate any other general comments about basic officer training. Thank you for your comments.

Right!  I know a lot are waiting for this:
