I can't find an answer to this question and I've looked everywhere but if I am horribly mistaken I'm sorry for littering the board with this.

Will having a deviated septum automatically cause me to fail the medical? I can breathe better through one nostril then the other but in no way does it affect me physically. I can surpass all the prerequisites for getting into Basic and even though I know that getting it fixed isn't major surgery but since it has never affected me I hadn't really thought about it until I read what tests were being done for the medical.

Any response would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for taking the time to read this.

That is because the only place you will find the answer is at the CFRC when you do your medical.

Actually - if you did a search you DID find the answer - you either ignored it, or didn't realize it WAS the answer.

The answer is exactly as Cdn Aviator has stated - only the medical professionals who will assess you at the CFRC can make the determination.

Locked unless someone's got a good reason for re-opening it.
