I'm looking at heading down to one or the other, I just want to know if you have been to one or maybe both and which one you thought was better. This will probably be sometime in the middle to end of summer.

I will have my 2 kids (7 Yrs and 5 Yrs) and wife.

Thanks

Disney offers a military discount of $149 a night at Walt Disney World Swan & Dolphin Hotel located on the grounds. The Shades of Green is owned by the military and is popular.

I've been to both and loved them both!  ;D

I've only been to the Anaheim, California Disneyland, but I've heard that the one in Orlando, Florida is a little bigger since it has the Epcot Centre and all that.

Anyone else been to either the Euro Disney in France or Tokyo Disney? I heard a new one just opened up in Hong Kong...yet another place for USN/RN/RAN/Marcom sailors to spend their liberty...hehehe.

;D

For civilians being a shareholder of Disney will get you a discount.

Those who own stock in entertainment giant Disney are given the opportunity to enroll in the Magic Kingdom Club for $39 (20% lower than the cost to non-shareholders). Members receive deep discounts ranging from 10 to 30% at all Disney resorts, stores, theme parks, attractions, and events.

Anyone try a cruise on one of those Disney cruise ships?
Wife and I did the 3 day land/4 night sea back in 2002 for our Honeymoon. Might seem childish, but I had a blast! We got a chance to see most of the sights in Disneyworld in the 3 days; the only thing I didn't like was to cost for food (and that was back when exchange was $0.65). The cruise was great...Disney Wonder I believe. Despite being family oriented, they catered to many different people. There are areas on the ship for families, kids and adults. For dining, we were seated with 3 other Honeymooning couples, which gave us some commonality. We stopped in Nassau, Grand Cayman and Castaway Cay (Disney's island-even had separate family/adults only areas). Food was great, and seeing the Disney characters on board made it better. Best part...the ship horn played the Disney theme!  ;D
