Do I have to do BMQ again after being released?

Hey guys,

Quick question: I was w/ NAVRES for 3 years, jun04-sept07, my MOS was R837, RMS Clerk.
I want to get back in as Airforce reg force...do I have to do basic again and or QL3?
Also will my rank be kept or do I have to start all over again?
Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

I would suggest going to a recruiting centre with all you information as they would be able to give you the best most informed information vice a strangers best guess.

Since you haven't been out that long you should get a Recruit School By Pass(don't have to do BMQ) as for QL3 I assume you want to come back in as a clerk so it would depend if the Reserve QL3 is equiv or not to the Reg Force QL3 or if you have any other courses/experiance to grant you QL3. As for rank dunno depends on how much Class A, B an C days you have an what they equal to. Like dangerboy said talking to a recruiter would be the best bet to get the right info as it applies to you.

There is only one source that can answer your question with any certainty. That's the Recruiting Centre. Everything else, here or otherwise, is nothing more than a guess.
