Are there any driver wheel courses that I could take that could transfer to a civilian Class 3(Nova Scotia)/D(Ontario) license?

I've been looking into getting a Class 3 course on civi side and they're going to cost me over 4000$+.

Any info?

Thanks

If you need training it will be provided.  If you don`t need training for the military, the military will not provide it.

Basic driver wheeled is the LSVW, LUVW and MSVS.  Unless your unit has other equipment, you won`t be loaded on other courses.

Generally speakking, it`s MSE Ops who get the other qualifications, as they are the ones expected to operate the equipment.

you can't transfer an MLVW on a civie liscense, because it's illegal on public roads if not plated military.  Your only chance to get a class 3 is with HLVW in some provinces and unless i'm mistaking you will get a automatic only restriction.

But will taking say, the MSVS/MLVW Course allow me to transfer that on to a civi license?

If you know a MDO that has a Provincal Examer permit, try to get qual on a 5 ton then. But even that is more for the MSE Op field. May be you join the wrong trade?

MSVS is a separate stand alone course dapaterson, as it requires the individual to hold air brakes cert first.

I believe the current LFC DVR WHL covers LS and the LUVW-MILCOTS only.....
