I have known I have been dyslexic for a few years so far but have never had it put on paper. If I do get it on paper I could get help with exams/academics but would it affect my career in the future if I am marine systems engineer officer? thanks

You are not going to get extra help on exams/academics in the CF.  If you are not able to successfully complete these then the CF is not for you, unfortunately.  You will either make it on your own merits as a MARE or not.

I have known members who have had dyslexia.  As long as they can function, overcoming their problem, they have managed to maintain a career in the CAF.  Exams can be a problem, but in many cases, just like with language comprehension problems, the staff can assist the students ( and not by giving them the answers ).  This still does not guarantee that all cases will be accepted into the CAF.
