Event: Prayer Vigil for the Military - January 19, 2008, Parliament Hill, 5PM
Second Annual National Day of Prayer for the Canadian Military
The Military Christian Fellowship of Canada together with the National House of Prayer are calling for a Prayer Vigil for the Canadian Armed Forces.
On Saturday January 19, 2008 at 5 p.m. EST, we will be meeting in front of the Centennial Flame on Parliament Hill, Ottawa. Please join us.
For those with a burden to pray for our young men and women in uniform (and their families), we will come as one to petition ...
-for the perfect will of the Lord for our military,
-for the protection of our soldiers in action,
-for abundant grace and spirit-filled military chaplains,
-for the protection of the soldiers families, and
-for the healing of our soldiers and their families after deployment.
Please pass this announcement along to your church and all those you know that pray.
Last year over 50 other communities across Canada joined us in a simultaneous prayer vigil from their region.
