I'm always amazed to hear about stories like this within the police service. You'd expect them to know better.

If what she says is true, she may have grounds for harassment. The manner in which administrative and disciplinary measures are carried out are just as important as the actual technical wording and process.

I'm always amazed to hear about stories like this within the police service. You'd expect them to know better.

When it comes to organizational culture, its never surprising that people who should 'know better' are in some ways no better than any other person, or think that because they are 'elite' they have the right to act in an unacceptable manner.  It is seen in many companies, industries and occupations, not just police services.
