Hello,
I am a 51(soon to be 52) yr old female wishing to join the RCAF Reserve Force. Wondering what the fitness requirements are after the initial fitness test ? Any suggestions on what to work on ? I am in the process of working on my fitness to make sure I can do well if I apply and accepted to start BMQ.

Waist line measurements don't affect a pass/fail result, it's only there for statistics and overall health evaluation. I wouldn't worry about how far you can run, but rather work on your overall cardio. Personally, I found that consistent HIT (high intensity training), via a spin bike, helps prepare me for a test on the cardio side, along with a moderate strength training program.

I am currently doing cardio, weight training and HIIT. Started two months ago, I would like to be in decent shape to try and avoid any injuries if I am accepted.
I have already passed the initial FORCE test.
