There's two ways of finding one of these.  Issued or other. the other sometimes costs $70, i've heard upwards of $100, which is ridiculous.  I have some for sale. they are used but in good condition.  I am selling them for $35.  anyone interested can contact            [email protected]

i have the means to accept payment and ship anywhere in Canada.

i just got brand new 64 pattern ruck frames in.  so,

used ones - $30
new one - $35

i can accept payment anywhere in canada,  contact [email protected]  shipping is cheap, i use fedex ground, but contact me for shipping rates.

Sorry to be a bit suspicious, but can you fill us in a bit more about yourself, and can you provide pictures of theses new and used frames?

sure, i am an infantry reservist in toronto.  while i don't have my jump crse yet I have wanted a jump ruck setup for a long time now and have always had a hard time finding the frame. i find the 64 pattern way more comfortable on long marches.  So, i solved the problem of supply and cost.  i found a bunch of them, so instead of selling them to surplus stores ($$$) i am selling them cheaper on ebay, locally, here and anywhere else i can find to get Soldiers a frame if they want one.

the other guy on ebay is selling them for 49.99 (USD) not incl shipping.

i can provide pics no problem, drop me an email at [email protected].

Carry On!

I'm pretty sure the setup is similar to what my ex-airborne grandfather has in his shed.

I need to get something cost efficient to train with. If you're willing to sell to civilians, i'll certainly take a look.  :salute:

hi shawnsmith,

i will sell to military or civilian i don't mind.  check out the site (whitespace....net) listed above for all the kit you would need to own a 64 pattern jump ruck. if all you want is a frame, no problem, drop me a line at [email protected] , we'll get you sorted out.

i started training with my new jump ruck a little while ago and i won't go back to the 82 pattern.

I just got my 64 frame from WhiteSoace and I have to say I am extremely happy. Fast delivery, and friendly service.

If this were EBay you'd get a gold star or something...For anyone interested this is a legit source for frames.

This sounds good to me.

If I were to buy one, would it matter which pattern I choose? I'd only buy cadpat if I was allowed to use it six months down the road as a private in the militia. I read that the policy differs between units. Is non issue kit a no-no in the reserves, on average?

There are so many differing views on this at the unit level, there really isn't any value to asking here, frankly. You may as well ask at an RSMs conference...  ;D

Talk to your supervisor, and they will tell you if it is okay to use non-issue kit. Even if you can use aftermarket kit, I'd suggest you err on the side of caution and go for the green stuff to avoid sticking out.

Again, your supervisor will have the answers you're looking for.

thanks for the business!

unfortunatley i am sold out of new jump ruck frames, although i still have surplus ones for sale.
