For Soldiers at Fort Carson, Food Is Scarce

I quietly chuckle to myself when I wear my ball cap and gloves, with no fear of being called out :sneaky:
I remember one unseasonably cold day in September (think it was snowing) where a bunch of RCN folks were wearing whites... with Canex jackets and gloves. The whites were for some kind of indoor even, and it was still summer dress, but the whole thing was just weird.

I'm a big fan of common sense; if people's hands are cold, put gloves on. If they aren't don't wear them. Sometimes the NCD jacket with gloves and a ballcap or toque is perfect if you are working outside so you don't sweat your ass off.

Haven't had NECU long enough to have been working in the cold in it, but doubt it covers that "jacket, not parka" part of the spectrum. As far as layering, bit of a step down from four breathable layers (t-shirt, blue shirt, and jacket liner and outer shell) to two.
