Hi all.

I have to give away a Lexmark X-85 Printer/Copier/Fax machine(W/Software). There are ink cartridges in it, but the machine has been sitting for about 3 years with no use. So, the cartridges will have to be replaced and possibly the print heads cleaned.

The only stipulation I have is that you donate an amount of your choice to either Army dot CA, or the Oromocto SPCA.

If nothing is heard within a week, it will either be going to recycle heaven, or get used as a boat anchor.

Well, a week has passed, and no takers. The printer will be going to recycle heaven on the next pickup day. (that's because I sold the boat)

I generally take items like that to the local Goodwill or Sally Ann Thrift shop.

I usually would do that, but the last time I bought Ink cartridges for that beast, the black was about $55.00 and the colour about $70.00. I don't think anyone in a position to receive that printer from the mentioned organizations could afford the ink. Lexmarks were always bad for the ink costs.
