FS: Parka, Extreme Cold Weather - Chilliwack, BC

I thought that I would try putting this on here before I stick it on Ebay.

Anyways, what I have is a Parka, Extreme Cold Weather, size Reg/Med (61" - 71" height, 37" - 41" chest).

This is the big warm parka, with the detachable hood (no fur on the hood), and the removable liner.  Standard waist pockets, and breast pockets.  Rank tab on front and rear.  This is the pre-goretex stuff (1990, I think it says on the label).  It is in pretty decent shape, I have not noticed any large (or small, for that matter) tears on it.

I am getting rid of it because, well, as you can see, I am in Chilliwack, and it doesn't get cold enough for me to keep it around for the once or twice that I wear it a year.

I am looking for $60 on it, but I will entertain offers.  The buyer will pay shipping (approx $12, depending on location).  I am in V2P 7K7, so you can figure shipping rates.  I am guessing that it weighs about 5#, for shipping purposes.

wow, what a sale, its worth at least $120 in surplus stores, Id buy it, but I already have one (was a gift, along with a bunch of other stuff from CEL Surplus)

I'm assuming that this parka was bought through legitimate sources - not issued?

Considering the parka described is early '90s (if not earlier), it isn't too hard to buy them from surplus stores. I don't think the CF even issues them out anymore (except the ones that were a stepping stone between the OG 107 parka and the newer 'Goretex' parka).

yup, got it from a surplus store, not issued.

c'mon, I'm CIC, the poor second cousin .  We get pants, tops, and 'jean jacket, cordourouy collar' in operational stuff, anything else you see on a CIC (in CADPAT or Olive Green) is generally surplus stuff.
