Finally, this is my first taste of Christmas in 3 years. Worked retail hell at futureshop till a few months ago.


So far, I don't care for it. It's almost as bad going to the stores as it was working there. And my extended family is all arseholes.

I plan on continuing the tradition we carried on at futureshop, and stick to celebrating Festivus. Only this year I don't get to wrestle the warehouse manager.

Yeah working retail (Radio Shack) during the Xmas season sure puts a damper on any holiday spirit.  I started getting mine back when I had kids, then it was all for the wonder of Santa for them.  Now they're teenagers and it's for the presents and electronic stuff.
...and NO comments about me procreating!  Remember, Santa is watching you.

I love that "Life lessons" ad on TLC where the guy says "Who hates whiners" and the kid washing the car says "Santa!"  ;D
So, needless to say, I use that in my kids now and they get it!  It's so cool when they're old enough to understand your jokes.
